Where is God Now?

Theologians refer to it as the question of “theodicy”, but regular folk like you and I know it as the question of ‘why do bad things happen to good people?’ What all this comes down to is an attempt to resolve the problem of evil when all power and goodness are attributed to God, and this is the question essentially asked in Psalm 44 (and the book of Job). 

By God’s grace we will endeavor to answer the question this week of “when the help and presence of God appear to be absent, how are we to respond?” We will base our discussion upon Psalm 44 in a sermon titled “Where is God Now?” and as always reading and meditating on this Psalm in advance of Sunday will be most helpful!
