Great is the LORD

The discussion of greatness regarding nearly any matter is one that involves a number of opinions and answers and the debate of any “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time) is likely endless. If one is talking basketball players, likely candidates include Michael Jordan, LeBron James, or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Or if the topic turns to football players, Tom Brady, Jerry Rice, or Jim Brown are likely conversation starters. Or if you like guitars, you will be arguing over Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Chuck Barry, or maybe Eddie Van Halen. Or if movies are your thing, “Lord of the Rings”, “Star Wars”, or the “Godfather” will likely be mentioned. I trust you get the picture! 

But when we turn our attention to spiritual matters, there is no doubt and there is no argument: Great is our God!! This week’s Psalm is 145 and by God’s grace we will explore what comprises His greatness and how we are to respond to it.
